MESSAGE OF DIRECTOR

Esteemed DGCA personnel, civil aviation society and visitors of our Web Site.

As is known I have held my position on 11 April 2011. In this respect I want to inform you about my resume.

I was born in Rize, İkizdere in 1968. I have completed my undergraduate degree (Electronic and Communication Engineering) in Yıldız Technical University in 1989. At the same year I have started to work in Sate Rail Ways as electronic and communication engineer.

In 1994 I have assigned as the Chief of Electric Unit in Istanbul Transportation Anonymous Company. In this position regarding maintenance and repair I also held responsibilities regarding some projects. Between 1995-1996 I was assigned as Deputy Manager and between 1996 and 2003 as Manager of the Electric Unit in Istanbul Transportation Anonymous Company. I have carried out the supervision of the technical repair and maintenance of the subway transportation tolls in addition to the management of the projects regarding the provision and installation of this kind of transportation.

In 2003 I have been assigned as the Head of the Revision Unit in Turkish Airlines. I have leaded a group comprised of 550 technicians and 4 Directorate carrying out the maintenance of the engine, landing gears and all components of the airplane.

In 2005 I have been assigned as the Deputy Director General responsible for the Ground Handling. I have carried out the organization of 2250 employees and paid attention to the take off in time.

In 2008-2009 I have leaded 1900 technician and engineer during my deputy directorate in Turkish Airlines.

In 2009-2010 I hold responsibility as Director General in Cyprus Turkish Airlines during its reformation. In 2010 and 2011I was assigned as the Deputy Director General in Turkish Engine Center and leaded the Units of quality, business enhancement and EH&S.

I have been assigned as the Directorate General of Civil Aviation with the decision of the Ministry of Transport dated 8 April 2011 and numbered 2011/282.

I have mission to carry out my responsibilities in civil aviation society and to advance together for the better in future.
