Air Services between Turkey and Bulgaria are increasing...

Authorized represantatives of the Directorate Generals of Civil Aviation of Turkey and Bulgaria has met to incrase the air services and destination points between the countries.
Ministry of Transport Directorate General of Civil Aviation carrying out negotiations to increase and to enhance the coverage of international air services has recently met with the represantatives of the Bulgarian civil aviation authorities and revised the Air Services Agreement.


Delegations headed by the Director General of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation Mr. Bilal EKŞİ and the President of the Bulgarian Civil Aviation Authority in international relations Mr. Krasimir NAYDENOV have carried out civil aviation negotiations with the participation of the represantatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As the result of the negotiations and the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the parties air services between Turkey and Bulgaria has been increased 14 frequencies and has reached 56 frequencies per week.


According to the Memorandum of Understanding designated airlines of both sides have been granted permission to operate 28 frequencies to Sofia and 7 frequencies to Varna, Burgas and Plovdiv for each per week.Furthermore it is decided to add one point to the four destination points entitlement for each.


The entitlement of the designated airlines of both parties to operate cargo services to unlimited points has been sustained.
