Flight Permit for Ditching
The coordinates defined as a consequence of coordination with the Turkish Armed Forces Turkish General Staff, Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning, Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, General Directorate of Maritime Affairs and Inland Waters Regulation, Directorate General of State Airports Administration, Turkish National Police, Turkish Coast Guard Command, General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works as well as with the relevant institutions/organizations in respect of the coordinates requested for landing on/taking-off from the ditching areas such as sea and lake, for once only, are published on our website. In case of any change in the ditching areas permitted, or in case of a new request regarding coordinates, then the processes for coordination with the relevant institutions are initiated.
In respect of the ditching areas which are requested for the first time and which have not been defined, the operators are required to apply to our Directorate General either by means of official letter or fax, 4 business days in advance, for the ditching areas defined maximum 30 business days before the date planned to operate flight, upon completion of Flight Permit Request Form, on which Reference or Record Number obtained through the Electronic Document Management System of our Directorate General is required to be specified. No fee is requested in relation thereto.
