I hope that 2015 will bring peace, serenity and well-being to the whole world and I wish you a year full of fancy and brotherhood.

While leaving behind one more year that civil aviation has continued its growth steadily throughout the world, I avail myself of this opportunity to commemorate those who have lost their lives in airplane crashes happened in 2014 and I wish a new year that flight safety and aviation security is applied at the highest level and a year with no accidents.

Turkish civil aviation has left a year behind which had been very successful in bringing the regulations and standards regarding the aviation safety & security to the national law and implementing these rules in a very high level by Turkish aviation sector.

Turkish civil aviation, aiming to move forward these works each year, will continue contributing its works in cooperation with international civil aviaiton organizations and sustainable growth of global aviation system in a safe way.

In the scope of our ICAO Council Membership candidature, we want to conclude our target of 2016 ICAO Council Membership by continuing to do our works with more determination in 2015.

Wishing a successful, healthy and peaceful year, I celebrate the new year of all ICAO member Civil Aviation Authorities and civil aviation employees.
