TUBEK (Türkiye Aircraft Maintenance Training Organizations) meeting was held.
The first TUBEK (Türkiye Aircraft Maintenance Training Organizations) meeting organized by UTED under the auspices of our General Directorate and attended by industry stakeholders was held at the Turkish Civil Aviation Academy with the participation of our Directir General, Prof. Dr. Kemal YÜKSEK and executive management personnel.
The meeting started with the opening speeches of UTED President Mr. Necdet AKSAÇ and Our Deputy Director General Özcan BAŞOĞLU. Afterwards, the Head of Airworthiness Department Mr. Murat TOPÇU informed about the requirements of Aircraft Maintenance Personnel Training and the Certification Processes to be implemented by our General Directorate in the coming period, as well as information about the corporate transformation studies already carried out.
The UTED management continued with the information about the regulation, which was prepared as a draft by EASA which is still being published. In the change of regulation in question, it is emphasized that the most important topic is the emphasis on the increase in the effectiveness and place of multimedia capabilities in the training processes. In addition, the presentation made by UTED stated that the concept of Competency Based Training (CBT), which is based on 11 competencies underway by ICAO in the coming period, will be included in the regulations by EASA.
General Manager Prof. Dr. Kemal YÜKSEK, who delivered the closing speech of the program; stated that In terms of training and licensing as DGCA that it is tried to act with a new vision, the main purpose of the studies, ensuring the sustainability of services of the same quality, the General Directorate and identification of identities in the sector, duties, powers and responsibilities clarification, increase the number of qualified specialists, increase accessibility, minimizing human-induced effects, ensuring the effectiveness of inspections increase, ensure equality of opportunity in education in the field of aviation and merit objectively obtain the data that will be the basis for the establishment of the system constituted the form of.
Finally, the meeting was concluded by agreeing that the TUBEK meeting should be convened at certain intervals of the year to discuss the problems and demands of the sector.
