This year, December 7, International Civil Aviation Day was celebrated at our General Directorate with the participation of the students and teachers of the Güzide Ülker Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Civil Aviation / Ground Services Field affiliated to the Ministry of National Education and the personnel of our General Directorate.

The program started with the opening speeches of our Deputy Director General Özcan BAŞOĞLU. By our Deputy Director General; It was stated that the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), of which our country is a founding member, was established with the Chicago Convention signed on December 7, 1944, and December 7 has been celebrated as the "International Civil Aviation Day" all over the World since 1994, and this year, ICAO It was stated that the 77th anniversary of the establishment of the International Civil Aviation Day was also celebrated on the 27th anniversary.

Afterwards, by Salih YALÇIN, Head of Airports Department; Information was given about the activities carried out in the field of ground handling services and the relevant regulations by our General Directorate.

Then, by Serdar YÜKSEL, who worked as a Pilot in the Flight Operations Department; The students' questions were answered by making a presentation on how to become a pilot.

Finally, the program was concluded with the presentation of plaques by our Deputy Director General Özcan BAŞOĞLU to Güzide Ülker Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Teachers.
