Monthly Network Operations Report for April 2022, published by EUROCONTROL, provides information on the general view of the performance of the European air traffic network.

According to this, Ukraine (-99.4%), Republic of Moldova (-56.5%), Slovenia (-43.8%), Latvia (-36.7%) and Finland (-33.6%) were the most affected states in terms of traffic reduction compared to 2019. The number of flights in Türkiye decreased by 12.9%. Türkiye ranked 6th with 2206 daily flights on average. The United Kingdom, Spain and Germany had the highest daily traffic numbers.

Ranking 3rd after Ryan Air (2771) and Easyjet (1506), THY A.O. ranked first among flag carriers with 1141 daily flights on average.

As one of the busiest airports, Istanbul Airport ranked 5th with 1054 daily flights on average.
