Class rating examiners must hold or have held a professional pilot license and PPL(A) and must have completed not less than 500 hours as a pilot of aeroplanes.
Privileges

• To conduct skill tests for the issue of class/type ratings for single-pilot aeroplanes
• To conduct proficiency checks for revalidation or renewal of class /type ratings for single- pilot aeroplanes and revalidation of instrument ratings

Authorization

All applicants for initial issuance or revalidation of CRE(A) authorization shall meet the requirements of JAR-FCL 1.
