For the conversion of an Instrument Rating issued by an ICAO Member State to a Turkish JAR-FCL license, the applicant must first satisfy the requirements for obtaining a Turkish JAR-FCL Instrument Rating.

Theoretical Knowledge Examination

The applicant must have passed the IR(A/H) or ATPL(A/H) theoretical knowledge exams conducted by the DGCA or an EASA member state as part of mutual recognition.

Skill Test

The applicants must have passed the IR(A/H) skill test to be conducted by a Flight Training Organization authorized by the DGCA, under the supervision of a flight examiner delegated by the DGCA.
