For the conversion of a Flight Instructor Rating issued by an ICAO Member State to a Turkish JAR-FCL license, the applicant must first satisfy the requirements for obtaining a Turkish JAR-FCL Flight Instructor Rating.

Theoretical Knowledge Examination

The applicant must have completed 50 hours of FI(A) theoretical knowledge instruction, at a Flight Training Organization authorized by the DGCA, covering all the FI(A/H) course subjects in accordance with JAR-FCL 1 or 2.

Skill Test

The applicants must have passed the FI(A/H) skill test to be conducted by a Flight Training Organization authorized by the DGCA, under the supervision of a flight examiner delegated by the DGCA.
