According to the air traffic data for the week of 13 – 19 July 2022 in the EUROCONTROL Comprehensive Aviation Assessment Report;
Türkiye is ranked 6th among the top 10 busiest European states with 3526 daily flights on average (%98 of 2019 level). In Europe, 87% of 2019 levels is reached with 30509 daily flights on average over past week.
Turkish Airlines is ranked 3rd among the top 10 aircraft operators with 1512 daily flights on average.
Istanbul Airport is the airport with the highest number of dep/arr flights (1333 daily flights on average). (+%5 vs 2019)
Antalya Airport is ranked 7th among the top 10 busiest airport with 937 daily flights on average.
Additionally, Istanbul Airport ranked 8th in the top 10 global airports and Antalya Airport is also in the top 40 global airports.
